You might say Taylor Johnson intern Hannah Pisani was born for this work. That’s because she is the daughter of TJ President Emily Johnson and granddaughter of TJ founder Deborah Johnson.
Joining the family business wasn’t necessarily something that was expected of her, Hannah says, but having heard her mother and grandmother working for years, she developed and interest in both communications – and real estate – at a young age.
Hannah is now headed into her junior year at University of Missouri where she is studying strategic communications through the Journalism school. She’s earned placement on the Dean’s List every semester for continued academic excellence. Other significant academic achievements include competition placement as part of DECA, a national club of high school and college students focused on leadership and emerging entrepreneurs.
Much like her mother Emily, Hannah enjoys working out – particularly running, yoga and Pilates. She also likes to paint, and her guilty pleasure is binge-watching shows on Netflix.
BEYOND THE BIO
With Taylor Johnson since: 2021.
People around the office come to me for: Client clip reports, office related tasks and mailings.
Three words that describe me are: Organized, open-minded, kind
When I was growing up, I thought I’d be: Working for Taylor Johnson. Ever since I was little I loved the idea of working with my mom and keeping the business in the family. However, around five years old I wanted to be a dolphin-trainer!
Favorite Halloween costume: My extended family went to Disney one year for Halloween and we went as 101 Dalmatians. The oldest cousin dressed up as Cruella Deville while all the other cousins dressed up as the dalmatians. A girl actually went up to my oldest cousin to get her autograph because she thought she was a Disney employee.
What I like most about TJ: The atmosphere. When I first came to the office, the people were very welcoming and friendly. It’s also fun to see the day-to-day of Taylor Johnson since I’ve heard so much about it growing up.
Most people don’t know that: I’ve been on the Dean’s List every semester I’ve attended Mizzou.
