The striking elliptical shape of the 492-foot, glass and metal high-rise at the corner of Madison and Halsted streets in Chicago’s West Loop has kept heads turning for months. With first residents now moved into the iconic tower, Taylor Johnson invited Curbed Chicago to have the first tour of client 727 West Madison‘s indoor amenity spaces and smartly-designed model units. Developed by F&F Realty Ltd. and TJ client Fifield Cos., 727’s contemporary, mid-century and Art Deco-inspired interiors, designed by Morgante Wilson Architects (also a TJ client), provide a warm and thoughtful contrast to the building’s sleek exterior. Read about Curbed’s first impressions of the amenities and units here.
