Andrew Kiener Joins Kinzie Real Estate Group’s Brokerage Division

March 12, 2015

Andrew Kiener, a 20-year real estate veteran, has joined Kinzie Real Estate Group as director of project sales, announced Steve Spinell, president of Kinzie Real Estate Group.

“Andy is a very well-respected professional in Chicago’s real estate market, and we’re thrilled to have him bring his vast experience to Kinzie,” said Spinell. “His talents and industry knowledge will be very valuable to us as Kinzie continues to grow and expand our developer services division.”

Prior to joining Kinzie Group, Kiener served as president of Private Holding Group, a Chicago-based full-service property management firm specializing in condominium management services. Previously, Kiener was president of Garrison Partners Consulting, where he helped grow the company from Chicago’s premiere sales and residential development marketing firm to a national organization. During his career, he has overseen $1 billion in real estate projects.

“Andy’s esteemed resume makes him the perfect candidate for this new role, and an ideal addition to our brokerage team,” said Spinell.

Kiener will join Steven Maher, a partner and Kinzie’s managing broker, and Christine Lutz, who joined Kinzie as its director of residential brokerage in early 2014.

“This team of real estate professionals includes some of the most well-known names in Chicago’s brokerage and development community,” said Kiener. “The growth Kinzie has experienced is very impressive, and it speaks to the strong leadership of the firm. I’m excited to be a part of this group and, together with Steven and Christine, focus on the continued expansion and success of Kinzie.”

Maher, who also has more than two decades of real estate experience, founded and operated Insight Real Estate Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based real estate sales and marketing firm. There, he directed successful sales and leasing programs for development projects in Chicago, St. Louis and Minneapolis. Prior to that, he was with Garrison Partner, where he served as vice president, overseeing new business development. In his role at Kinzie, Maher heads up both the brokerage division and the developer services arm of Kinzie. Development services specializes in creative disposition strategies for clients’ distressed asset portfolios, and executing carefully crafted program to meet their goals. To date, Maher has been responsible for more than $1 billion in sales throughout the Midwest.

Prior to her role at Kinzie, Lutz was a broker with Coldwell Banker/Jennifer Ames Chicago focusing on the high-end single family and condominium market downtown and, before that, served as senior vice president of Garrison Partners Consulting. She has overseen more than $1 billion in new construction and conversion real estate projects in seven states.

“Because of their past experience together at Garrison Partners, there is a synergy to their professional relationship. They have enjoyed a lot of success together, and it’s not an overstatement to call them one of Chicago’s real estate A-Teams,” said Spinell.

In total, the Kinzie brokerage team has worked on more than $3 billion in real estate in the Midwest, Northeast, Southwest, and southern United States.
