Hinsdale, Ill.-based Foxford Communities announces it has opened its new decorated model home at Somerset Townhomes, a community of 39 upscale townhomes along the lakefront in downtown Lake Zurich, Ill.

Phase one homes are base-priced from $299,000 to $329,900, while homes in the remaining two phases, are base-priced from $339,000 to $399,900.

A corner unit, the model home showcases a spacious and open layout including large windows that allow for plenty of natural light. The home’s main focus is its oversized great room that allows for multiple seating areas. Just off the great room is a gourmet kitchen with a large island and breakfast bar. An alcove off the kitchen extends to an outdoor balcony and can be used as a dining room or a keeping room. The model showcases the space as a keeping room opting to place a dining table in the great room, highlighting the flexibility of the space. While the model’s finished ground level includes a half bath and bonus room that is set up as a home office, the space can also be used as an exercise room or media room.

“The amount of flexible space within the townhomes appeals to a wide range of buyers,” said Brennan. “While the maintenance-free living at Somerset has been highly desirable for young professionals, single parents and empty nesters, they all have different ideas on how the flexible spaces can be used.
