Chicago-based Proper Title, LLC, a full-service title insurance agency serving the residential and commercial real estate industries, today announced the opening of its new office in Vernon Hills, Ill., near the intersection of Townline Road and Lakeview Parkway.
Located at 175 E. Hawthorne Parkway, Ste. 403, the new closing location replaces the company’s previous Libertyville office. Due to increased business in the northwest suburbs, Proper Title needed a larger space to accommodate its growing client base.
“As we continue to scale operations, we are bringing our services closer to the customer, in modern and functional spaces that help streamline the closing process,” said Kathy Kwak, COO of Proper Title. “Even though the housing market has shifted, we remain active and have the infrastructure in place to accommodate all real estate cycles.”
The new office occupies a 1,773-square-foot suite on the fourth floor of the property and includes three closing rooms, a large reception area and ample parking. Its convenient location offers easy access to a number of major expressways and thoroughfares in the northwest suburbs. Isabel Reyes, a senior escrow officer with more than 17 years of experience, will oversee the office along with additional staff as needed per closing.
“Because of our personalized, high-touch approach, we get many referrals for new business in addition to repeat clients who have helped drive our expansion,” said David Zawadzki, executive vice president of business development at Proper Title. “As a title agent, Proper Title works with all the large underwriters to help clients find the perfect coverage for their unique transaction.”
In addition to extra staff support at each closing location, the firm offers clients several complimentary on-site services to enhance the closing process. Each office has a “Proper Fuel” kiosk offering snacks and beverages, a “Proper Charge” station with multiple device chargers and a “Proper Vision” stand containing eyeglasses of varying magnification levels.
