Chicago-based Lexington Homes has announced it has started construction on Lexington Crossing, a community of 54 townhomes in downtown Rolling Meadows, Ill. Three models at Lexington Crossing are scheduled to open January 2016 along with first move-ins.
“Over the past two years we have developed a number of successful townhome communities in the north/northwest suburbs including Park Ridge, Palatine and Morton Grove and are excited to start construction on our newest community in Rolling Meadows,” said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes. “Based on the brisk sales of these communities, there is obviously a demand for townhomes like ours that combine open floor plans and convenient locations. So far, Lexington Crossing seems to be following suit as we have already had solid sales before starting construction.”
Located at Kirchoff and Library roads – half mile west of Route 53 and minutes from Interstate 90 – Lexington Crossing offers townhomes ranging from 1,603 to 1,913 square feet. Homes are base-priced from $299,990, and buyers can choose from three floor plans that offer two to three bedrooms, 2½ baths and attached two-car garages.
Alex Paytuvi, one of the first buyers at Lexington Crossing was drawn to Lexington’s open floor plans that include functional and flexible spaces like great rooms and larger kitchens as well as the maintenance-free lifestyle. “I travel a lot for work so I wanted a place that I could just lock up and go and not have to worry about who is going to mow the lawn or shovel the driveway when I’m out of town on business,” said Paytuvi. “I also like the fact that high-end finishes including hardwood floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances come standard in all of the homes at Lexington Crossing.
