Buyers who want to get a jump start on their home search in 2015 can take advantage of M/I Homes’ “Let’s Do This” promotion, which offers special pricing and other incentives for those purchasing a move-in ready home in January and closing before March 31.
The promotion includes all available immediate-delivery homes at each of M/I Homes’ 19 Chicago-area townhome and single-family home communities. In addition to reduced pricing, the promotion features special financing rates for qualified buyers, assistance with closing costs, and a free 55-inch installed HDTV for all qualified homes.
“This promotion is the ideal time for buyers to pull the trigger if they waited until after the holiday rush to purchase a home, but still want to move in this spring,” said Ron Martin, region president of M/I Homes. “We currently have a great selection of inventory homes available across our portfolio, offering a wide range of pricing, locations, floor plans, features and finishes. Buyers are sure to find a home they love, and with our special promotional discounts as well as financing opportunities, they’ll get it at a terrific price.”
Among the communities where buyers can find a wide selection of immediate-delivery homes to choose from is Mayfair, M/I’s townhome community in Naperville. “Our current inventory at Mayfair includes a number of move-in ready homes and others very close to completion,” said Cheryl Bonk, vice president of sales and marketing for M/I Homes. “Buyers love that they can come in and see a variety of finished homes, and walk through them to get a real feel for the floor plan. And of course, purchasing an inventory home is a great option for anyone who wants new construction, but needs to be in their new home within weeks rather than months.”
One new townhome available for immediate delivery at Mayfair features the 2,110-square-foot Columbus plan from M/I’s Grant Park series. Located in a prime location with water views from the main living areas, the end-unit home is priced at $389,990 and has three bedrooms, 2½ baths and a full look-out basement. Additionally, the home features hardwood flooring throughout the first floor; stained rails and spindles in the stairwell; a direct vent fireplace in the family room; and a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, 42-inch white cabinetry and granite countertops.
“Like all of our move-in ready homes, this townhome is already complete with a gorgeous package of finishes hand-picked by our team of designers,” said Bonk. “That’s a real benefit to some buyers who prefer to leave the process of coordinating countertops, flooring and cabinetry to the professionals, or who have difficulty envisioning what certain finishes will ultimately look like in a home.”
Buyers in the market for a single-family home can choose from a number of immediate-delivery homes available at M/I communities including Stableford, an enclave of 22 single-family homes in Willowbrook. One option at Stableford is a move-in ready home featuring the 3,097-square-foot Hudson plan, with four bedrooms, 3½ baths and an attached three-car garage. It is priced at $579,990.
“As Stableford is within the highly regarded Hinsdale South High School district, floor plans at the community are designed with family living in mind. We’ve added some great optional features to this inventory home, such as a Jack-and-Jill bath, that make it even more appealing for buyers with children,” said Bonk. “We’ve also included special touches such as a fireplace in the family room and vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom that make this home as beautiful as it is comfortable.”
Reduced pricing and closing cost assistance for the “Let’s Do This” promotion vary by community and floor plan. M/I Financial representatives are available to assist buyers with the financing process, and qualified buyers can choose from below-market financing options.
Homes at all M/I Homes communities come standard with the builder’s industry-leading 30-Year Transferable Structural Warranty, which not only allows buyers to purchase with confidence, but also adds value if the home is sold in the future. All homes are also WHOLE HOME Certified, an M/I Homes designation indicating the builder’s superior approach when constructing homes. Upon testing, an M/I home will receive a more favorable HERS (Home Energy Rating System) score than an Energy Star-certified home, which can save buyers upwards of 30 percent on their energy bills. A lower HERS Index means lower energy costs, and on average an M/I home achieves a HERS rating of 60, considerably lower than other builders in the market.
