CHICAGO (Oct. 18, 2018) — Morgan Bond Company has announced the recent grand opening of Inspire Southpark, a 369-unit apartment development in Charlotte’s Southpark neighborhood. More than 300 guests toured the amenity spaces and one- and two-bedroom model units by Kathy Andrews Design at the grand opening event, which was held on Oct. 4.

“Inspire Southpark has brought something truly exceptional to the Charlotte rental market,” said Rob Bond, president of Chicago-based Bond Companies, who partnered with La Jolla, Calif.-based Morgan Holdings in the Morgan Bond Company joint venture. “From the space, floor plans and finishes of our residences to the range and quality of our amenities, Inspire Southpark has caught the eye of renters who want to embrace the vibrant, urban Southpark lifestyle.”

Offering a variety of floor plans, Inspire Southpark includes studio and one-bedroom units ranging from 621 to 1,096 square feet, with rents starting at $1,300 and $1,490 respectively; two-bed/two-bath units ranging from 1,117 to 1,534 square feet, starting at $2,450; and three-bed/2½-bath apartments measuring 1,671 to 2,032 square feet, starting at $4,225.

All residences at Inspire Southpark feature open-concept floor plans with oversized windows and 9-foot-plus ceilings facilitate an abundance of natural light. High-end finishes and fixtures include stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and wood cabinetry with soft-close cabinets and drawers in the kitchen; custom walk-in closets in the bedrooms; frameless shower doors and quartz countertops in the baths; and hardwood-style flooring and designer lighting throughout. Units feature a Nest thermostat and keyless door entry, both manageable through residents’ cellphones.

“The amenities at Inspire Southpark enhance our residents’ experiences of living in one of Charlotte’s best neighborhoods,” said Ryan Morgan, project development manager at Morgan Bond Company. “Our goal was to put nearly anything residents need at their doorstep, and we believe we’ve achieved that with our extensive offerings.”

Residents of Inspire Southpark can host gatherings at The Clubhouse demonstration kitchen and party room, while The Morrison private dining room gives new meaning to having a meal “at home.” Other entertainment amenities include the Inspire Society Social Hall and worldwide gaming center, and The Lounge, a club-inspired gathering space with a golf simulator, poker table and television.

To showcase its pet amenities, Inspire Southpark partnered with The Humane Society of Charlotte to kick off the grand opening party with an adoption event for residents and guests. On-site amenities for dog owners include Groomingdale’s, a pet spa managed by local business The Dog Salon; Happy Taills, an indoor doggy daycare provided by local business Skipper offering daily supervised group play sessions and individual walks; and two oversized dedicated dog parks located outside in the Grand Lawn.

The Inspire Fitness and Wellness Center features state-of-the-art equipment, a dedicated indoor yoga room and spin room, both with WELLBEATS™; an outdoor yoga studio; and a spa offering a sauna, and nail and massage services. In addition to the Grand Lawn, outdoor amenities include a 25-meter pool surrounded by a resort-style sundeck with lounging space and cabanas, grilling stations, a pizza oven and fire pits. Inspire Southpark also features Sprockets bike storage and workshop, Work Haus co-working space and the Import/Export 24-hour parcel room.

Morgan Bond Company partnered with several local businesses in addition to those that manage the dog amenities. Inspire Coffee, the Inspire Southpark in-house barista, is operated by Not Just Coffee, a favorite Charlotte coffee shop. Lighting for the outdoor amenities was designed by Bandit Lighting, a Charlotte-based company working with artists like Garth Brooks and Shinedown. And internationally known artist Osiris Rain created murals seen in various amenity spaces, including the pet spa and doggy daycare.

“We took a very thoughtful approach to partnering with local businesses at Inspire Southpark, something we knew would resonate with residents,” said Larry Bond, chairman of Bond Companies. “Hometown pride is strong in Charlotte, and we wanted to incorporate as much of that as possible into the community.”

Located at the intersection of Sharon Road and Sharon Township Lane, Inspire Southpark is steps away from the heart of the neighborhood’s commercial district, anchored by Southpark Mall and Symphony Park with numerous restaurants, retailers and entertainment options.

The Inspire Southpark leasing center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 – 5 p.m. To learn more, visit live-inspire.com or call 704-817-7096.
