Lendlease provided construction management services for 80-story residential tower

Lendlease, a global integrated real estate group, today announced the completion of construction on Sutton Tower, an 80-story residential building in Manhattan’s Midtown East developed by Gamma Real Estate and JVP Management. Located at 430 E. 58th St., within the historic Sutton Place neighborhood, the tower offers 120 for-sale residences, with first move-ins scheduled for summer 2023.

Lendlease served as general contractor on the development, which started construction in 2018. The Sutton Tower project provided a number of unique features and challenges, including construction of an 850-foot tower on a 6,000-square-foot site. In addition to building in a dense, infill neighborhood, Lendlease built the tower with a 10-foot cantilever over the adjacent buildings on each side, starting at the sixth floor.

Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen, Sutton Tower offers luxury condominiums, each located on a corner. The more than 22,000 square feet of amenities include a double-height atrium, library, swimming pool, fitness center, spa suites, sports simulator room, screening room, private dining room, children’s room with an interactive mural by Elanna Allen and a 1,300-square-foot sculpture garden.
