Optima, Inc. Announces 100% Leasing Milestone for Business Suites at Optima Signature Apartment Tower in Chicago’s Streeterville Neighborhood

In a reflection of the increased demand for high-quality coworking space in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood, Optima, Inc. today announced it has leased all 22 furnished office suites at Optima Signature, a 57-story, 490-unit Class A tower at 220 E. Illinois St.

Available to residents as well as nonresidents of Optima Signature, the office suites allow users to work just steps from Michigan Avenue and also enjoy a number of the building’s luxury amenities, such as its state-of-the art fitness center with fully-equipped locker rooms, spa and steam rooms. The suites range in size from 194 to 1,610 square feet and include work stations, a mini-fridge, built-in cabinetry and window treatments, with some suites also featuring round conference tables and chairs for team meetings. Business suite users also have access to a conference room with high-tech audio/visual, shared kitchen and dining area. Rents range from $1,000 to $2,800 per month.

Optima Signature’s business suite users range from tech startups and fitness instructors to an international publication in need of a Chicago headquarters. Steven DeLuca, an Optima Signature resident and principal at an Arizona-based real estate company, started out leasing a one-desk suite in the building, but soon upgraded to a larger suite to better accommodate meetings when his business partners travel from out of town.

Upon relocating to Chicago a few years ago, DeLuca initially leased shared office space from a national coworking provider, but made the switch when Optima Signature’s office suites became available.
