Proper Title, LLC, a full-service title insurance agency serving the residential and commercial real estate industries, announced today the expansion of its title services in Northwest Indiana through its hiring of Matt Workman as an account executive in its Valparaiso office.
“Since we expanded into Northwest Indiana a year and a half ago, we’ve experienced tremendous growth in the region, and we now have two offices in the area,” said Brent Fielder, executive vice president of business development for Proper Title. “Matt brings a long track record of providing excellent client service, whether he is working with lenders, realtors, builders, developers or attorneys.”
Before joining Proper Title, Workman spent nearly seven years as a senior account manager at a title insurance agency in Valparaiso, where he earned the “Excellence in Sales” award each year, and where he conducted new agent training and continuing education programs. He recently held positions in Porter County, Ind., as a middle school teacher and a high school graduation coach. Workman has a bachelor’s degree in English from Western Michigan University.

In January 2022, Proper Title announced the opening of its first office outside of Illinois in Schererville, Ind. One month later, Proper Title added its second location in Northwest Indiana in Valparaiso, which also marked the title insurance agency’s 14th closing location.
