CHICAGO (Aug. 9, 2018) — Spaces Real Estate today announced the opening of its new office in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Located in a loft office building at 1035 W. Lake St., the 4,000-square-foot space is the second and largest office for the full-service real estate brokerage, establishing a brick-and-mortar presence for the company’s Elevated Spaces division, launched nearly two years ago to serve the high-end downtown rental market.

“We have experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, and while we’ve been working downtown for a while, we felt it was time to establish a physical presence there,” said Bentley Phillips, founder of Spaces Real Estate, which specializes in residential leasing downtown and throughout Chicago’s North Side neighborhoods. “Our West Loop location will help us recruit some of Chicago’s top leasing agents while improving accessibility for our clients, including both developers and renters who want to make these live-work-play neighborhoods their home.”

The 4,000-sqaure-foot open-plan space is twice the size of the company’s Lakeview office, which will remain at full capacity. In addition to serving as the headquarters for Elevated Spaces, the West Loop location will also serve neighborhoods surrounding downtown and provide ample space for training and other events.

Spaces Real Estate worked with Rieke Office Interiors on the design, which emphasizes the live-work orientation of the space. It features both defined offices and open lounge areas, as well as a kitchen situated at the center of the office.
