Transwestern today announces that James Brannan has joined the firm’s Chicago office as Vice President in the project management and development group. In this role, Brannan is responsible for expanding Transwestern’s services to include build-to-suit projects, renovations, workplace strategy, development opportunities and tenant improvement assignments.

Brannan was previously a Senior Project Manager at Savills Studley, where he oversaw more than 500,000 square feet of projects totaling over $60 million. He brings more than 21 years of experience in project management consulting and facilities support efforts to Transwestern and, during his career, has worked on notable tenant improvements such as Deloitte, ITW, ACCO Brands, Medline, Scientific Games (formerly WMS Gaming), Lundbeck Pharmaceutical, Aviva Investors, Donlen Corporation and ABN AMRO. Brannan holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Purdue University.
