What’s Driving Chicago’s Industrial Users to Southeast Wisconsin?
As one of the pioneering Chicago-based industrial developers to establish a presence in Southeast Wisconsin, Taylor Johnson client HSA Commercial Real Estate‘s insights on the region are invaluable in helping media get a lay of the land. That’s why TJ recently put RE Journals in touch with Tim Thompson, HSA Commercial’s executive vice president and managing director of industrial brokerage, for a story on why industrial users are lured to Southeast Wisconsin. While the state’s affordable taxes are a top draw, it’s not the only reason firms like HSA are active in the area with new projects like Bristol Highlands Commerce Center in Bristol, Wis., near I-94 and the Wisconsin-Illinois border. A 157,300-square-foot warehouse building with 31 truck docks and a 471,950-square-foot distribution center with 72 truck docks, Bristol Highlands is scheduled to deliver its first phase later this year.
