The redevelopment of the former AT&T corporate campus in Hoffman Estates, Ill., has been one of Chicago’s biggest  suburban CRE stories for the past year. So, when Taylor Johnson client Wight & Company was ready to announce its involvement in the Somerset Development project, we knew media would be interested to know that the property was originally designed by renowned architect Dirk Lohan, now a principal at Wight & Company, who also will lead the effort to reimagine it as a mixed-use hub called Bell Works Chicagoland. Coverage of the design and delivery firm’s role in Chicago’s first “metroburb” appeared in several outlets, including RE JournalsREBusinessOnlineChicago Construction NewsBisnow ChicagoConnect Chicago and the Daily Herald.

Lohan will be discussing the Bell Works Chicagoland project on Thursday, Aug. 15, at Bisnow’s Chicago Repositioning and Adaptive Reuse Summit, held at the Bell Works site. Click here for more information and to register.
