Chicagoland’s Industrial Boom Spreading Development Into New Submarkets
How big is Chicago’s industrial boom? When Taylor Johnson client NAI Hiffman shared its success with the DuPage Business Center in West Chicago, Ill., 30 miles from the Loop, we knew reporters would be interested. Previously marketed as a tech park, the 650-acre site drew little attention until NAI Hiffman took over marketing, playing up the property’s desirable location near the I-88 corridor. Just 24 months later, the DuPage Business Center is almost fully leased, with 3 million square feet of Class A space across multiple warehouses, including one leased to Amazon. We pitched the story to Bisnow Chicago, which included it in an article about how Chicago’s industrial development is pushing ever farther afield. Read the article here.
