Mary Cook, Founder And President Of Mary Cook Associates, Named CBJ ‘Woman Of Influence’
Since founding her commercial interior design firm Mary Cook Associates (MCA) in 1986, Taylor Johnson client Mary Cook has spent the last 35 years creating innovative interiors for many of the country’s top builders, developers and other CRE owners and operators. So, when Chicago Business Journal issued a call for nominations for its 2021 “Women of Influence” feature, we knew she would be a natural fit for the distinction and crafted a submission. It’s no surprise Cook was selected as an honoree, given her three-plus decades as an innovator and leader in her field, her work on high-profile projects such as the Tribune Tower Residences, and her pioneering use of psychographics to inform design decisions.
