Taylor Johnson is pleased to announce it now represents the West Central Association – Chamber of Commerce (WCA), one of Chicago’s premier neighborhood and community development organizations. Established in 1918, the WCA is a driver of business and economic development for the region, serving more than a dozen neighborhoods immediately west of downtown Chicago and advocating for business and property owners in those neighborhoods. The WCA has played a pivotal role in the growth of the West Loop and Fulton Market, most recently leading initiatives to expand outdoor dining during the COVID-19 pandemic and development of a new neighborhood parking plan. Leading the WCA is Roderick Burch, executive director since 2014, and an esteemed board of directors comprising nearly 40 business owners and leaders with a vast knowledge of community building. Visit wcachicago.org to learn about the WCA and its members and stay tuned to TJ TALK, where we’ll be promoting the organization’s programs and its collective expertise.
